Popular Light Curing Adhesive Systems
LED401 White
image
The uniqueness of LED401 White is its opaque white color which adds a special dimension to light initiated curing systems, since nearly all are either transparent or tinted with dyes. This one part system cures fully tack-free upon exposure to a 405 nm wavelength light source where the presence of any UV light is minimal or incidental.

UV25

With a glass transition temperature exceeding 180°C, UV25 offers exceptional thermal stability over the broad service temperature range of -60°F to +500°F. This one part, moderate viscosity UV curable system bonds well to glass, surface treated metals and plastics such as polycarbonates and acrylics, among others. Additionally, this material is optically clear with a refractive index of 1.55 at room temperature.

UV15DC80
image
Addressing “shadowing” issues, UV15DC80 is a dual cure epoxy based system that cures upon exposure to UV light and/or with heat. The heat portion of the cure schedule can be initiated at only 80°C rather than at the more common 125°C. It is not oxygen inhibited and has outstanding chemical resistance to many acids, bases, fuels and solvents. This unique adhesive is a superb electrical insulator and bonds well to metals, glass, ceramics and most plastics.

UV10TKMed is USP Class VI approved and meets ISO10993-5 for cytotoxicity requirements. It is used in the assembly of medical devices and is capable of withstanding repeated sterilization cycles, including radiation, ethylene oxide, chemical sterilants and especially autoclaving. This higher viscosity, one part system has exceptionally good optical clarity, sterling physical properties and a very high glass transition temperature (Tg) that exceeds 140°C.

Featuring outstanding abrasion resistance, UV15X5 is a one component, non-yellowing, UV curable urethane elastomer system possessing high flexibility. This high viscosity compound can be used for bonding, sealing, coating and casting. It is not air inhibited and no solvents or other volatiles are emitted during cure.
