Master Bond Polymer System EP21CT100 is a unique two component epoxy urethane-coal tar compound for high performance coatings, linings and sealants. The Master Bond Polymer System EP21CT100 is readily prepared for use by thoroughly mixing the two compounds with a convenient, non-critical one to one mix ratio and cures at ambient temperatures to form high quality protection coatings, linings and sealants. The cured Master Bond Polymer System EP21CT100 features an excellent combination of physical and chemical characteristics. The epoxy resin contributes high physical strength properties, adhesion and resistance to solvents, water and alkalis; the urethane enhances toughness, abrasion resistance and permanent flexibility and the coal tar provides outstanding resistance to water including sea water, acids and many inorganic salts. EP21CT100 coatings, linings and sealants are particularly recommended for heavy duty corrosion protection of chemical plants, roofing, flooring, docks, power stations, ships, dams and coking plants. They are widely employed in the chemical process, construction, petroleum, fertilizer, cement, mining, electrical/electronic and marine industries for service where abrasion as well as corrosion are required. The Master Bond EP21CT100 system is lOO% reactive and does not contain any solvents or other volatiles.
