Master Bond EP41ATC Epoxy Resin System is a solvent-free, two component epoxy resin system designed for applications where hard, tough, special corrosion resistant electrically conductive seamless flooring is required. It features excellent resistance to solvent media such as methyl ethyl ketone, xylene, 1, 1, 1, trichloroethane, ethyl alcohol and cyclo-hexane. It is readily prepared for use by mixing the resin (A) and hardener (B) components with a noncritical 100 to 25 weight ratio. The mixed composition can be applied in films ranging from less than 5 mils to more than 120 mils in thickness. Master Bond EP41ATC Epoxy Resin System cures completely at ambient temperatures even in the presence of moisture. The cured coatings feature excellent/good chemical resistance to water, inorganic and organic acids, alkalis, many organic solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons etc. and are electrically conductive to minimize the chance of static electricity. They are particularly useful in hospitals, computer rooms and industrial areas where static electricity is a hazard. In addition to seamless floors, successful applicationsinclude marine coatings, exterior tank coatings, pipe and tank linings and other products where a chemical resistant finish is needed and possible static electricity generation is a problem.
