Master Bond Polymer System EP45 Product Description

MASTER BOND POLYMER SYSTEM EP45
Two Component Heat Resistant Epoxy System for
High Performance Structural Bonding And Casting

Master Bond Polymer System EP45 is a two component epoxy system for high performance structural bonding and casting suitable for applications where long term exposure to temperatures from -80° to +400°F is required. lt is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents. It is formulated to cure rapidly at elevated temperatures with a 100 to 30 mix ratio, by weight, to produce high physical strengths and chemical resistant products at both ambient and elevated temperatures which unlike that of many other epoxy compositions, are relatively insensitive to small changes in the mix ratio or substrate cleaning procedures.

Master Bond Polymer System EP45 is also available in a non-drip version called EP45ND-2 and can be applied without sagging vertical surfaces. It produces durable high strength and tough bonds and castings which are remarkable resistant to thermal cycling and chemicals including water, oil and most organic solvents over the exceptionally wide temperature range of - 80°F to +400°F.

Adhesion to metals, glass, ceramics, wood, vulcanized rubber and many plastics is excellent. The hardened System is an electrical insulator. Color of Part A is clear, part B is brown.

Master Bond Polymer System EP45 is widely used in aerospace, electronic, electrical, computer, construction, metal working, appliance, automotive and chemical industries.

The cured System fully meets the requirements of MIL-MMM-A-132 TypeIII and other MIL specifications.
