Master Bond MasterSil 152 is a cost effective two part liquid silicone which cures readily at room or elevated temperatures to a tough, resilient silicone rubber potting and encapsulation compound. MasterSil 152 has a low viscosity and features remarkably high flexibility and superior tear strength. Its unique blend of mechanical and electrical properties offers protection to sensitive electronic components and assemblies from dust, moisture, ozone, thermal shock and vibration. Since no heat is developed during cure, it can be employed for casting very thick sections as well thin sections. A special promoter is available to further decrease cure times at ambient temperatures. The addition of this promoter makes possible cures in less than one hour. Cures can also be accelerated by the application of heat.
