Master Bond Master Sil 704 is a ready-to-use, one component high performance silicone elastomer compound for bonding, sealing, protective coatings and formed-in-place gaskets. Master Sil 704 is available in clear or translucent white which can be easily handled, processed readily and cured rapidly. It cures at ambient temperatures into a flexible rubbery solid when exposed to atmospheric moisture. Master Sil 704 is an excellent electrical insulator and provides vibration and shock protection for a variety of assemblies.. It remains flexible and provides excellent service over the broad temperature range of -75°F to +400°F. Master Sil 704 is widely used as a general purpose type bonding, coating and sealant agent in situations where flowability is essential. It offers outstanding resistance to water and can seal cable entries and connectors as well as other type assemblies. Also noteworthy is its excellent adhesion to silicone rubber. Master Sil 704 has wide applicability as a field repair service material. It is an acetoxy cured, non-corrosive system that also meets Mil A-46106B.
