Master Sil 712 is a two component, optically clear silicone compound which cures readily at ambient temperatures to form transparent gels with outstanding electrical insulation properties. It is prepared for use by mixing the two components in a convenient non-critical one-to-one (1/1) mix ratio, weight basis. This compound is formulated so as to permit deep section cures with minimal shrinkage. Master Sil 712 is also useful for vibration damping and preventing up to temperatures as high as 400°F. Master Sil 712 silicone gels have remarkable self healing properties if punctured or penetrated.
