Master Sil Polymer System 718FS is a ready-to-use exceptionally convenient to cure two component fluoro elastomer compound for bonding; sealing, protective coatings and casting. It offers a unique combination of outstanding thermal stability and chemical resistance to fuels and solvents not achievable with any commercially available silicone elastomer. Master Sil Polymer System 718FS is an outstanding electrical insulator and provides excellent vibration and shock resistance for even the most delicate electronic assemblies. It retains its flexibility upon prolonged exposures over the exceptionally wide service temperature range of -65°C to +230°C. Master Sil Polymer System 718FS cures readily at ambient or more quickly at elevated temperatures. Cures can be accomplished by mixing the two components with a convenient one-to-one weight ratio. Mixing should be carried out slowly to minimize entrapment of air. Vacuum deaeration is recommended to remove any residual air which may be present.
