Master Bond Primer "P" enhances the adhesion to untreated polyolefin surfaces such as low density, high density and linear polyethylenes, ethylene copolymers and other polyolefins. It is also effective in improving the adhesion of various topcoats to untreated polyolefin surfaces. Master Bond Primer "P" is comprised of a specifically formulated high molecular weight polymer which is dissolved in an organic solvent blend. The product is supplied as an amber colored, low viscosity solvent solution which readily wets clean polyolefin substrates. Drying takes place in a matter of minutes at ambient temperatures and can be accelerated by heat e.g. 150-200°F. Master Bond Primer "P" is particularly effective in conjunction with fast curing cyanoacrylate adhesives for bonding untreated polyethylene and other polyolefinic surfaces as its application significantly advances the advantageous performance characteristics of these versatile bonding agents.
