Master Bond Polymer System Supreme 3HTND-2 is a storage stable one component toughened epoxy resin compound specifically designed for high performance glob top applications. This uniquely formulated epoxy composition features exceptionally fast cures at moderately elevated temperatures and offers outstanding protection against adverse environmental conditions, vibration, impact and thermal shock for fragile and/or delicate components or printed circuit boards. Additionally Master Bond Supreme 3HTND-2 has excellent electrical insulation properties, high physical strength characteristics and remarkably superior adhesion to metals, plastics and ceramics, as well as all types of flexible and rigid circuit board materials. Master Bond Polymer System Supreme 3HTND-2 can be readily applied on specific sharply defined circuit board areas and does not flow during application or cure beyond the desired board section. The most important advantages over conventional two component glob top compounds include ease of application with no need for mixing, very fast cure cycles, impressively high insulation and strength properties and long term dimensional stability. Master Bond Polymer System Supreme 3HTND-2 is 100% reactive and does not emit any volatiles during cure. The formulation is specially designed so that ionic impurities are negligible.

Master Bond Polymer System Supreme 3HTND-2 has flow properties specially designed for effective glob top application using commercially available dispensing equipment. Cures can be effected in 20-25 minutes at 240-250°F, 5-10 minutes at 300°F, or shorter at higher temperatures. The cured epoxy compound is highly resistant to heat, moisture, many organic chemicals, acids, bases and salts. The volume resistivity exceeds 10¹⁴ ohm cm at 75°F. Pertinent performance parameters are not adversely affected by prolonged exposure to severe environmental conditions. The service temperature range of the cured epoxy compound is -100°F to as high as +400°F. The shelf life is six months at ambient temperatures with no requirement for refrigerated storage. Master Bond Supreme 3HTND-2 has a brown color. Other colors are available upon request. Flow properties can be adjusted if required to best meet job specific application needs. Supreme 3HTND-2 is also available in a thermally conductive version called Supreme 3AOHTND-2.
