Master Bond’s technical experts put lap shear strength to the test for eight of our popular adhesives systems. Our engineers were specifically interested in tensile lap shear strength values when bonding dissimilar metal substrates, including aluminum to stainless steel, aluminum to titanium, and nickel to titanium. The results for these systems are impressive overall, and each system offers a number of distinct performance properties that make them well suited for a variety of applications.
