Master Bond MB600S is an aqueous based sodium silicate coating formulated for applications where electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) shielding is required. Tested according to IEEE 299, 2006 methods, MB600S was as effective as the aluminum reference with a shielding effectiveness of 95-105 dB, from 100 MHz to 2 GHz. It is easy to brush on and being water based, the system is relatively non-toxic.

Master Bond has developed a comprehensive line of electrically conductive adhesives which have very marked advantages over solder or mechanical fasteners. Depending on the application requirements, Master Bond can formulate rigid as well as flexible electrically conductive systems, which offer very low volume resistivity (<0.001 ohm-cm) combined with superior temperature resistance properties. These one and two component systems feature the following fillers:

  • Graphite
  • Nickel
  • Silver coated nickel
  • Silver
