Non-Toxic Cyanoacrylate for Bonding Applications

Low viscosity MB250NT is a single component ethyl cyanoacrylate that cures exceptionally fast at room temperature. This high strength, non-toxic system meets ISO 10993-5 standard for cytotoxicity. It is often used in high speed production of disposable medical devices and also has first rate resistance to EtO and gamma sterilization processes. As a non-toxic system, MB250NT is environmentally friendly.

Silicone Compound for High Performance Medical Applications

MasterSil 151Med is an optically clear, flexible, tough, high performance potting and encapsulation compound by Master Bond. It exhibits superior electrical insulation properties and very low shrinkage upon cure. MasterSil 151Med is resistant to vibration/shock and has a service operating temperature range of -65°F to +400°F. It meets USP Class VI requirements for medical applications.

Medical Grade, Electrically Conductive Adhesive

EP3HTSMed is a one component, silver filled, electrically conductive epoxy system featuring high shear strength and a fast cure schedule at 250-300°F. The epoxy system fully meets USP Class VI requirements and has low volume resistivity of <0.001 ohm-cm. EP3HTSMed produces durable, high strength bonds which are resistant to severe thermal cycling and many chemicals. Tensile shear strengths in excess of 1,000 psi are readily obtained and its service operating temperature range is -60°F to 400°F.

High Viscosity UV Curable Medical Adhesive

UV10TKMed is USP Class VI approved and meets ISO10993-5 for cytotoxicity requirements. It is used in the assembly of medical devices and is capable of withstanding repeated sterilizations, including radiation, ethylene oxide, chemical sterilants and especially autoclaving. This higher viscosity, one part system has exceptional optical clarity, sterling physical properties and a very high glass transition temperature (Tg) that exceeds 140°C.
