Master Bond Supreme 46HT-2ND2
features the ability to withstand prolonged exposure to temperatures
from -100°F to +500°F. This toughened, two part epoxy produces durable
bonds which are remarkably resistant to thermal cycling. It has
excellent electrical insulation properties, even at higher temperatures.
The mix ratio is 100 to 30 by
weight and unlike many other epoxy compounds, Supreme 46HT-2ND2 is
relatively insensitive to small changes in the mix ratio. It features an attractive balance of shear and peel strengths for high performance structural bonding applications. It provides outstanding adhesion to a variety of substrates including composites, most metals, ceramics, plastics and glass.
The system cures rapidly at
elevated temperatures with a minimum of 250°F. The color of Part A is
black, the color of Part B is brown, and the mixed adhesive is black in
color. It is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or
diluents.
Supreme 46HT-2ND2 resists a
broad range of chemicals including water, many acids, bases, and
solvents, as well as fuels and oils. It is widely used in aerospace,
electronic, transportation, metalworking and chemical/oil processing applications.
