Speed Your Production with Adhesives that Cure in a Flash
#5: Master Bond UV15-7Featuring excellent optical clarity, this one component
epoxy is not oxygen inhibited. It cures readily in 10-30 seconds when
exposed
to a UV light source emitting at a wavelength of 320-365 nm with an
energy output as low as 20-40 milliwatts per cm². UV15-7 also
offers high physical strength properties, low shrinkage upon curing and
good non-yellowing stability.
#4:
Master Bond EP30-4This
two part epoxy is especially recommended where a thin layer of epoxy
needs to cure very
rapidly without adding external heat. Films as thin as 0.025 inches can
become tack free in under 30 minutes. EP30-4 features a low viscosity
with superior adhesion to similar and dissimilar substrates.
#3:Master Bond LED403MedLED403Med
is a one part LED system that cures
fully upon exposure to a 405 nm wavelength LED light. In thinner
sections, full cures can be achieved in 15-30 seconds
(sometimes less than that), while thicker sections require longer cure
times. This system resists various sterilization methods, fully passes
the plastics test for USP Class VI biocompatibility and ISO 10993-5
cytotoxicity requirements.
#2:
Master Bond EP3FL
Ideal for potting and encapsulation of sensitive electronic components,
EP3FL can be cured in sections up to 1/4 inch thick. Its flexibility
and toughness permit it to adjust to both thermal and
mechanical stresses without damaging such components. This one component
epoxy system combines
high physical strength properties, remarkable thermal shock and heat
resistance and excellent electrical
insulation characteristics.
#1:
Master Bond EP24ANEP24AN is a fast curing, two component room temperature curing adhesive,
sealant and coating that has high thermal conductivity
of over 22 BTU•in/ft
2 •hr•°F. The rapid cure of EP24AN makes
it a desirable system for many field applications. In this regard,
EP24AN possesses the unique property of curing at temperatures as low as
20°F. It also has a very convenient one to one mix ratio by weight or
volume.
