Product Description

Master Bond EP64 is a two component epoxy system with a long working life at ambient temperature. It has a forgiving 100-to-5 mix ratio by weight and, once combined, forms a moderate viscosity mixture that flows well. A 100 gram batch offers a 12–24 hour working life at room temperature. The recommended cure schedule is 80-90°C for 4-5 hours, followed by a post cure at 120-130°C for 2-3 hours. The epoxy contains no solvents or diluents and has low shrinkage upon curing.

The system bonds well to a wide variety of substrates such as metals, plastics, rubbers, ceramics and composites. Upon curing, EP64 features an exceptionally high glass transition temperature of 210°C which ultimately translates into superb temperature and chemical resistance. The epoxy withstands a host of aggressive chemicals including acids, bases, and many solvents. EP64 is a dependable electrical insulating material. The service temperature range is -60°F to +450°F. The color of Part A is clear and Part B is dark brown. This epoxy provides reliable bonding and sealing performance for aerospace, electronics, specialty OEM, and optical applications requiring high Tg, outstanding chemical resistance, and stable performance under vacuum conditions.
