Product Description

Master Bond EP6STC-80 is a one-component, silver-filled epoxy with a smooth paste consistency, ideal for bonding, sealing, and coating. It has an unlimited working life at room temperature, as it only cures when heated to 80-90°C for 3-5 hours. EP6STC-80 is available in both syringes and jars. Following application, the syringe or jar should be returned to refrigerated storage. The epoxy has no solvents or diluents and low shrinkage upon curing.

EP6STC-80 bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, ceramics, composites, and many plastics. It is a high modulus, high compressive strength system. Its electrical conductivity is excellent, with a volume resistivity less than 0.001 ohm-cm. The epoxy has good dimensional stability. Its most noteworthy property is its superb thermal conductivity which reaches up to 14 W/(m·k). Since the maximum particle size is about 20 microns, this ultimately yields an exceptionally low thermal resistance of (1-5) x 10¯6 K·m2/W. It has good resistance to water, oils and fuels. The service temperature range is -60°C to +150°C.

This material is applicable across various sectors, including opto-electronics, acoustical systems, automotive, and PCB assembly, particularly when high thermal conductivity is required. It also features low electrical resistance and is a one-part system that cures at 80-90°C. It is not suitable for applications requiring electrical insulation.
