High Performance Two Component Epoxy Resin System For Bonding, Sealing Coating And Casting That Cures At Temperatures Below 40°F

There is a steadily growing demand for adhesive, sealants, coatings and castings which can be applied and cured at temperatures of 40°F and below. Master Bond Polymer System EP27 is a unique two component epoxy formulation offers relatively fast cures at temperatures as low as 40°F and below, with curing times much shorter than currently existing products. Also EP27 feature remarkably high physical strength properties, superior chemical resistance and outstanding electrical insulation characteristics over a wide temperature range.

Master Bond Polymer System has a non-critical mix ratio of hundred to fifty (2/1) weight or volume. The mixed compound has a desirably low viscosity of 2000 cps at 75°F. Gel time of 150 gram mass at 75°F is less than 30 minutes and thin film set time measures less than 2 hours at 75°F and 7 hours at 40°F. The EP27 composition offers remarkably high resistance to many aggressive inorganic and organic solvents including water, acids, bases, salt solutions, and many solvents. The chemical resistance to 70% sulfuric acid and 30% nitric acid is particularly noteworthy. EP27 is a superb electrical insulator. EP27 has excellent adhesive properties to both metals and nonmetal substrates. Typically bond strengths for steel/steel and aluminum/aluminum exceeds 1000 psi. The fully cured epoxy product has shore D 80 hardness rating.
