EP29-1

Master Bond EP29-1, a novel versatile, two component room temperature curing epoxy adhesive, is a uniquely versatile tough epoxy adhesive system which is widely employed for industrial assembly, coating, casting and bonding applications where a high performance epoxy compound is desired. Initially clear it becomes opaque white after cure thus making it of interest for tamper proofing, and also related protection applications. This readily usable epoxy system contains no solvents and cures fully at room temperature to a hard, tough solid with minimal shrinkage, forming strong bonds to steel, aluminum and most other metals as well as non-metallics including ceramics, glass, wood and many plastics. It flows well after mixing in a convenient, non-critical mix ratio of 100/60, weight or volume, and is easy to apply on all kinds of surfaces. It is an electrical insulator and has a high degree of chemical resistance including water, most aqueous fluids and many other chemicals such as gasoline, petroleum solvents, jet fuels etc. Fully cured Master Bond EP29-1 can be easily drilled, cut, sawed and machined with conventional metal tools.
