Master Bond EP42HT-2AN is a room temperature curable, two component epoxy adhesive, sealant, coating and casting material featuring high temperature resistance and outstanding chemical resistance. It is widely used in a variety of potting and encapsulation applications where thermal conductivity is needed. Aside from being a superior adhesive, sealant and coating, EP42HT-2AN is castable to thicknesses exceeding 2 inches. EP42HT-2AN cures in 3-4 days at ambient temperatures. At 200°F, the cure schedule is 2-3 hours. Optimum curing is overnight at room temperature followed by 2-4 hours at 150-200°F.

EP42HT-2AN bonds well to a wide variety of substrates including metals, ceramics, composites, and many plastics. It has excellent chemical resistance to water, oils, fuels, as well as acids, bases and many solvents. The service temperature range is -100°F to +400°F. This product is a candidate for applications in electronics, electro-optics and specialty type OEM applications.
