Two component, nickel filled epoxy for bonding, sealing and coating

Key Features

  • Good electrical and thermal conductivity
  • Excellent for EMI/RFI shielding
  • Reliable gap filling properties
  • Superior dimensional stability

Product Description

Master Bond EP30C is a two component, nickel filled, electrically conductive epoxy for high performance bonding, sealing and coating. This system has a 100 to 4 mix ratio by weight, but unlike other nickel conductive epoxies, EP30C is a malleable type paste. It will fully cure at room temperature in 2-3 days, or at 150-200°F in 2-3 hours. The optimum cure schedule is overnight at ambient temperatures followed by 1-2 hours at 150°F.

EP30C has a good physical strength profile. It bonds well to a wide variety of substrates, including metals, composites, glass, ceramics, vulcanized rubbers and many plastics. For a conductive epoxy, It delivers above average strength performance. Most noteworthy are its compressive strength and tensile modulus. Also, it excels in being dimensionally stable and having low shrinkage upon cure. Its conductivity is useful for static dissipation, EMI/RFI shielding and grounding applications. Some other desirable attributes are good chemical resistance to water, oils and cleaning agents. The service temperature range is -60°F to +250°F. Part A is gray and Part B is clear. EP30C is particularly useful in aerospace, electronic, electrical and other industries where nickel conductivity is desirable from a functional and cost perspective.
