EP39MAOHT blends a low viscosity and low exotherm, making it particularly well suited for large volume potting and castings. This video demonstrates this system’s mixing and flow properties. This room temperature curing system has excellent thermal conductivity and electrical insulation properties. It offers chemical resistance to water, fuels and hydraulic fluids as well as many acids and bases.

Master Bond EP39MAOHT is a two part epoxy notable for its low exotherm. It is well suited for large volume castings and potting applications. Part A and Part B should be gently stirred separately and then mixed together in a convenient one to one mix ratio by weight. This will produce an epoxy that flows evenly and smoothly. These flow properties combined with low exotherm make EP39MAOHT ideally suited for potting and encapsulations of significant depth, especially useful for heat sensitive electronic components. The optimum cure schedule is overnight at room temperature followed by 3-5 hours at 150-200°F. This epoxy is thermally conductive and electrically insulative. [On screen: Thermal conductivity: 9-10 BTU•in/ft2•hr•°F [1.30-1.44 W/(m•K)] It offers superior toughness and therefore withstands rigorous thermal cycling, vibration and shock. EP39MAOHT has reasonably good chemical resistance to water, fuels and hydraulic fluids as well as many acids and bases. It features a wide service temperature range from -100°F to +400°F. This system is available for use in cans and jars as well as premixed and frozen syringes . For more information, contact us to discuss your application.
