Master Bond Environmentally Friendly
Conformal Coatings Protect Electronic Circuitry

Brushing on a conformal coatingFor easy application and reliable performance, select Master Bond for your conformal coating needs. Our wide range of compounds will extend the life of your electronic assemblies and provide protection against moisture, abrasion, solvents, and elevated temperatures. These compounds can be applied by spraying, dipping, flow coating, and other conventional processing techniques. They are 100% reactive and contain no solvents or diluents.

Master Bond conformal coatings consist of one and two part epoxies, silicones and latex systems. Conformal coating being brushed on circuit boardWhere rapid cure speeds are of prime importance, we offer one part, UV curable systems. For intricate parts with shadowed-out areas, we also offer special "dual cure" coatings which cure with UV light and with the addition of heat. Grades vary in viscosity, cure speed, flexibility, chemical and temperature resistance, electrical properties, color, etc. Special formulations are non-yellowing, optically clear, cryogenically serviceable, repairable and have exceptional dielectric properties. Ultra low viscosity coatings are available for confined spaces. For over 30 years, manufacturing companies worldwide have depended on Master Bond's job-proven compounds. Some of Our Most Popular Conformal Coatings...

EP30-2

Two part epoxy with low viscosity and good physical properties. Cures rigid. Optically clear. Meets NASA low outgassing specifications.

EP41S-1

Easily processable, two part epoxy with excellent chemical resistance, particularly to solvents. Available in black.

MASTERSIL 773

Easy to process, ultra low viscosity, one part, no-mix, very soft silicone material. Excellent moisture resistance.

EP42HT-2

Low viscosity, two part epoxy with outstanding chemical resistance. Withstands autoclaving. USP Class VI biocompatibility tested.

EP30DP

Two part epoxy with superb toughness. Allows for parts to be retrieved, but still offers outstanding environmental protection.

UV15-7DC

Dual cure, low viscosity, rigid curing system. Offers excellent environmental protection. Cures by UV light and by heat at 125°C in shadowed out areas.
