MIL Spec Approved One Part Silicones
Master Bond has developed one part silicone systems that meet the requirements of the following military specifications: MIL-A-46146 and MIL-A-46146A Type 1. These products require no mixing and cure at room temperature. They feature superior electrical insulation properties and exceptional durability.
One Component Silicones Meeting MIL-A-46146 and MIL-A-46146A Type 1 Specs
- MasterSil 709
- One component, fast curing, silicone elastomer compound for bonding, sealing, coating and formed in place gaskets. Non-corrosive and flowable. Bonds well to a variety of surfaces and substrates. Servicable from -75°F to +400°F. Meets MIL-A-46146.
- MasterSil 710
- Single part paste. Meets MIL-A-46146A Type I specification. Non-corrosive. Cures rapidly with a tack free time 7-12 minutes at 75°F. Shore A Hardness 35-45. Elongation 550-650%. Used for bonding, sealing, coating and formed-in-place gaskets.
