Two Component, Low Viscosity, Water and Chemical Resistant High
Performance Epoxy Resin System Capable of Fast Cures Even at
Temperatures as Low as 7°F with a Noncritical 2/1 Mix Ratio.

Master Bond Polymer System EP37LV-1 is a two component, low viscosity, water and chemical resistant high performance epoxy resin composition. Its unique curing mechanism makes possible fast cures even at low temperatures e.g. 7°F using a noncritical 2/1 mix ratio. The working life of the EP37LV-1 system is around 30 minutes at ambient temperatures. The low viscosity of both components - final mix viscosity is around 5000cps - makes mixing exceptionally easy. Cures occur quickly at ambient temperatures. Full cures at obtained in 8-10 hours or less at room temperature. At temperatures of 38 °F complete cure occurs in 2-3 days and at temperatures of as low as -11°F full cure can be achieved within 5-6 days. Tack-free times are much shorter. Note that the cure rate at 7°F is only slightly longer than at 40°F. Master Bond EP37LV-1 has superior physical strength as well as excellent electrical insulation properties. The product features excellent resistance to prolonged immersions in water, dilute acids and alkalies, boiling acetone, toulene and other liquid media. It readily accepts high quantities of aggregates, sand and other earth materials. Its current applications range from grouting, trowelling and concrete patching in damp locations to marine coatings, floor toppings and solder substitutes for copper pipe joints etc. Bond strength for copper pipe joints exceeds 1350 psi.
