Supreme 3HT-80 Product Description
One Component, Toughened Lower Temperature Heat Curing Epoxy Adhesive Featuring High Shear and High Peel Strength. Cures at 175°F (80°C) Within 30 Minutes. Superior Adhesion to Dissimilar Substrates and Outstanding Thermal Cycling Capabilities.
Master Bond Polymer System Supreme 3HT-80 is a one component, heat curing epoxy adhesive/sealant featuring excellent physical and chemical resistance properties and a minimal curing temperature of 170°-175°F - well below the 250°-300°F required by typical one part epoxies. At 175°F, Supreme 3HT-80 will cure in 30 minutes and at 250°F, it will cure in 10 minutes. Optimal physical properties are obtained after a 30 minute cure at 250°F. No mixing is required prior to use and the working life is unlimited. Unlike premixed and frozen systems which require special low temperature storage, Supreme 3HT-80 can be conveniently stored in conventional refrigerators. The shelf life of Supreme 3HT-80 at room temperature is 6-8 weeks and at 40-50°F is a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months.
Master Bond Polymer Adhesive Supreme 3HT-80 produces strong bonds with both high shear and high peel strength for service in the wide temperature range of -100°F to +350°F. It offers superior resistance to impact, thermal shock, vibration and stress fatigue cracking while maintaining the moisture, creep, corrosion and thermal resistance typical of epoxy resin adhesives. It is 100% reactive and does not contain any diluents or solvents.
Master Bond Polymer Adhesive Supreme 3HT-80 produces exceptionally tough bonds which are remarkably resistant to severe thermal cycling and many chemicals including water, oil, fuels and many solvents even upon prolonged exposures. Adhesion to metals, glass, ceramics, vulcanized rubbers and many plastics is excellent. The hardened adhesive is a superior thermal insulator. The standard color is white, but other colors are available. Supreme 3HT-80 is well suited to applications in the aerospace, electronic, electrical, metalworking, and chemical industries where heat sensitive substrates limit permissible temperatures for curing adhesives.
