UV15RCL adhesive is a UV curable, optically clear compound that changes from red to clear once exposed to UV light. This distinctive feature gives users the confidence that penetration of UV light is taking place across the adhesive material, ensuring a thorough and effective curing process.*

Introducing an innovative, optically clear, UV curable compound, UV15RCL, which changes from its original red color to clear once exposed to UV light. This unique mechanism allows users to ensure that the UV light has reached all areas of the adhesive material – making certain that the compound will properly cure.

Here we can see a few sample applications where the adhesive becomes clear upon UV light exposure. Please note change in color does not indicate full cure, but only that the UV light has reached the polymer.

As a cationic curing system, UV15RCL provides a non-oxygen inhibited cure, resulting in a non-tacky surface. It also features lower shrinkage and good heat as well as chemical resistance. This low viscosity compound can cure in sections up to one eighth inch thick and forms high bond strength to many substrates including various plastics such as acrylics, and polycarbonates, metals, composites as well as ceramics.
